The current team of edventure ‘start-up’ students invite you to join them
at: The Welshmill Hub
on: Thursday 20th June 6-9pm
for an evening of celebration as they launch the MAKE:SHED.
The MAKE:SHED provides a regular open workshop space for Fromies aged 18-35(ish) for practical and creative projects, either developed individually with or without support or collectively for yourselves or for the community. This is an inclusive space with an ethos of mutual support and community.
Come along if:
you are interested in becoming a member
you would like to support the ‘shed’ project
you have skills you would like to share with members
you have been involved in the student’s journey in creating the ‘shed’
you would just like to find out more!
This is our chance to come together as a community and celebrate all that has been achieved so far and all the possibilities and potential for what the shed can offer to local young adults going forward.
We continue to be overwhelmed by the support that is gathering around the shed and look forward to sharing an evening of celebration with you all.
On the evening you can expect:
to hear their story about how they have gone about creating the shed in just 9 weeks.
to learn about the ‘shed’ movement in general and how shed’s support Frome’s ‘compassionate communities’ approach to wellbeing.
to meet other potential shed members and shed supporters
to have an opportunity to get creative in the workshop with DIY t-shirt printing
To celebrate the launch of the ‘shed’ with live music from ‘Pete the Temp’
to be provided with lots of yummy treats to eat and drink.
With many thanks for your support,
We look forward to welcoming you next Thursday!
The edventure spring 2019 team.
